Health and wellbeing

A multidisciplinary team is available on the Institut Mines-Télécom Business School campus offering a range of healthcare and wellbeing support and services to help you stay well and get the most out of your time here as a student.

The health and well-being service is open:

Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 1:30 pm to 5:15 pm

Our nurse, Audrey Gallineau, is available to see you for any reason that affects your health or your studies in line with the January 2001 national health policy for students.

She answers any request for counselling or if you feel you need to talk to someone, as well as relational or psychological support, guidance, and additional medical information, etc.

She provides emergency first aid, routine medical or surgical care, treatments, dressings, and vaccinations when prescribed by a doctor.

She is in charge of organising prevention programmes in partnership with student clubs and societies, and the school’s Student Life Commission:

  • STI screening (sexually transmitted infections)
  • Blood donation
  • Health awareness initiatives (high-risk behaviour) harassment and/or gender-based and sexual violence, etc.
  • Awareness-raising initiatives regarding disability

Our general practitioner, Doctor Legoff, is present on campus two Mondays per month from 1.00 to 2.30 pm.

Dr Legoff’s responsibilities include:

  • New patient health checks for students starting at the school
  • General health checks
  • Medical certificates for sports activities, employment, international mobility, internships
  • New and repeat vaccinations
  • Medical certificates for academic support and adjustments (illness or handicap – Doctor Legoff is registered with the Departmental Centre for the Disabled: MDPH).

Our psychologist, Amélie Miret, is present on campus 3 times per month, on Wednesdays from 10.30 am to midday.

She provides psychological support, at the request of students who are experiencing:

  • family difficulties
  • doubts, anxieties, worries about their studies.
  • personal difficulties (anxiety, anorexia, depression, etc.)
  • or who are going through a difficult period, etc.

Pascal BELLEVUE is present every Friday and the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. Our social worker is available from 9:00 to 11:00 and from 13:00 to 15:00, by appointment.

The disability liaison officer works in close collaboration with the Academic Affairs Department.

One-to-one appointments, needs assessment, individual support and supervision, human and technical assistance. The school doctor will issue a medical diagnosis with regard to the student’s disability.

This diagnosis is then used to draw up a support plan for disabled students (PAEH) specifying the necessary adjustments and arrangements for studies and/or exams.

Institut Mines-Télécom Business School and Télécom SudParis Engineering School are committed to preventing all forms of gender-based or sexual violence, and harassment.

To this end, a support unit has been set up to help students who are victims or witnesses of gender-based and/or sexual violence:

  • provide appointments for students who are witnesses or victims
  • gives students the opportunity to talk about situations involving violence and/or harassment
  • offers support through measures to assist the person with their prior agreement
  • plays an active part in the mission to prevent sexual harassment and sexual or gender-based violence.

This unit, which can be contacted by email ( harcelement.sexuel@imtbs-tsp.eu ), comprises 8 members who have undertaken to respect a set of ethical standards, in particular impartiality and strict confidentiality regarding the situations and information brought to their attention.

Upon request, you can be seen by our addictologist, Mr Alain LAGNEAU. Appointments with Mr LAGNEAU are free of charge and anonymous.

Appointments can be made to:

  • an assessment of drug used behaviour
  • organise access to care
  • start a programme to reduce or abstain from drug use
  • to continue this programme over time

A comprehensive healthcare offer for students in the Grand Paris Sud area

With the support of the Grand Paris Sud local authority, the city of Evry-Courcouronnes, the Evry-Sénart Sciences and Innovation association and local higher education institutions, the COSEM Evry-Courcouronnes multidisciplinary health centre provides students and apprentices in the Grand Paris Sud area with free walk-in health care in the direct vicinity of the Institut Mines-Télécom Business School campus.
