Financial Times 2020 Ranking: IMT-BS retains its position as the Number 1 French Grande Ecole for added value and keeps a stable league table position
Ranked 62nd this year, but still first in terms of added value, Institut Mines-Télécom Business School is among a select few French Grandes Ecoles who have managed to maintain a stable position in the Financial Times ranking. While a number of schools have seen large variations from one year to the next, this consistency serves to demonstrate the reliability of the answers provided and gives credit to the teaching offered to its students by the school. It also shows that IMT-BS is able to withstand increasingly intense competition from other institutions.
In keeping with the values it stands for, the school is well placed in terms of faculty diversity, with women representing 48% of the teaching staff. It is also among the top 30 schools for its share of international teachers.
One point that should be stressed, since it is not taken into account by the final ranking methodology but reveals the distinctiveness of IMT-BS: the school is rated 8.87/10 by its alumni for their general satisfaction, which places it in 39th place and is naturally a source of immense pride.
