SDG 6: CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION  

Responsible water management on campus

In order to meet SDG 6, IMT-BS promotes responsible water management on its campus. For this purpose, the following measures have been put in place:

• Rainwater collector for watering the vegetable garden,
• Raising awareness of students and staff on water consumption,
• Water savings with the installation of waterless urinals,
• Campus water taps are equipped with pressure-reducing and automatic shut-off devices

Drinking water supply on campus and sanitation

IMT-BS depends on the water distribution network of the Grand Paris Sud agglomeration, which is responsible for the distribution of drinking water as well as the treatment and management of wastewater.

As IMT-BS is located on the territory of Evry-Courcouronnes, it complies with the collective sanitation regulations of the city
