DÉVELOPPEMENT DURABLE
SDG 3: GOOD HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
Health Center
IMT-BS provides a multi-disciplinary team that is available for any advice or health concerns. These team members are committed to respecting the rules of ethics, neutrality and confidentiality regarding the information brought to their knowledge.
The health center is made up of:
- A physician,
- A psychologist,
- A social worker,
- The disability support unit,
- The sexual and gender-based violence support unit,
- The addictologist.
Thanks to the Grand Paris Sud urban community, a medical facility called COSEM Évry has been set up. It allows students to consult a general practitioner or specialist, a dentist or a psychologist, free of charge.
Management of the health crisis
The School implemented a number of measures and procedures to provide support to students and staff during the Covid-19 crisis:
- Sessions for listening and talking with a psychologist every Thursday for the students of the Integrated Master in Management program.
- Opening of a hotline for psychological support open 24/7 for all the staff.
- Implementation of sanitary protocols to support the staff in the organization of their work: remote working, gauge in shared offices, special leaves of absence for childcare or non-remote working activities, distribution of masks and hydroalcoholic gels, additional material (screen, keyboard, mouse, ergonomic chair for the staff identified by the occupational doctor).
- Creation of a crisis unit: info-covid-19@imtbs-tsp.eu
- On-campus vaccination campaign in April 2021 for the age group over 55.
- Listening times for the staff in May and June 2021 on the subject of “Back to Normal “.
Anti-smoking act
Since February 1, 2007, smoking has been prohibited in France in all closed and covered premises open to the public or which constitute workplaces, but also in health establishments, in public transportation and in all places (including open areas such as schoolyards) in public and private schools, colleges and high schools, as well as in establishments intended for the reception, education or accommodation of minors. This ban is indicated by a visible signage.
The decree No. 2006-1386 of November 15, 2006 recalls and specifies the principle, already adopted previously, of banning smoking in places intended for collective use.
In compliance with this decree, it is prohibited to smoke in closed spaces located on the School campus.

IMT Open Tennis Tournament
On the Evry campus, the 18th edition of the IMT Open tennis tournament took place from April 24 to May 6, 2021. It is a men’s tournament that stands out as the largest tournament organized by students and the second in terms of prizes awarded in the Ile-de-France region. It is organized by a team of 8 to 10 students who practice the project-based pedagogy, which lies at the heart of the Schools’ teaching model. Management and engineering students have the opportunity to give life to large-scale projects. This national sports event provides companies with a double benefit: increased visibility and privileged access to the students of our two schools. The partners for the 2021 edition were Tennis Compagnie, Société Générale, Laroq Performance & Fitness, EvryOne, and InterCaves.
