Employment of young graduates

According to the 2018 CGE* survey on the integration of leading management school graduates, Institut Mines-Télécom Business School ranks above average on the majority of indicators. Results that illustrate the added value of the school, showcased again this year by L’Etudiant and the Financial Times in their rankings.

In the 2018 edition of the CGE survey, Institut Mines-Télécom Business School reaffirms its excellent results in terms of professionalization on many indicators.

95.2% of 2017 graduates have obtained a permanent contract position. Nearly 14% more than the average number of graduates from other leading French business schools (81.1%).

More than 9 out of 10 young graduates from the school find a job within two months of graduation. For competing schools, this score is 8 out of 10. Our students’ average starting salary in France is more than €41k including bonuses. This is also above the average for business schools (€40,598).


Recent graduates of Institut Mines-Télécom Business School have faster access to employment than the market average. Thus, 70% are hired before graduation, and 90% find a job within 2 months of graduation. The gap is widening (+5.4%) with graduates from other schools, who are only 84% in this case.

These results reflect the excellent relations between the school and the business world, as well as the growing appeal of companies for the profiles trained at Institut Mines-Télécom Business School. Graduates have all the advantages of business school training, while remaining close to the “engineering culture”.
