As part of the school’s strategy, consistently with its values and missions, and as part of its reference activity plan (Junior Researcher Profile):

– Participating in the design and implementation of teaching in French and English, in initial and egular and executive education programs

– Conducting and animating research activities, promoting and contributing to the promotion of outreach and dissemination activities

– Contributing to the promotion and brand of the school

– Providing service to the school and the deployment of its strategy

  1. Teaching

– Develop courses in French and English

– Ensure the definition of “learning goals” and “learning objectives” and the implementation of Assurances of Learning (AOL) according to the principles defined by the AACSB and integrate the assessments and feedback of students

– Coach students and apprentices

– Participate in internal projects related to pedagogy

– Participate in the recruitment of adjunct instructors as part of the faculty development policy of Institut Mines-Télécom Business School

  1. Research

– Publish PRJ articles referenced by IMT-BS (ranked B or C) and intellectual contributions (chapter of collective research book, selective conference, case study …)

– Participate in internal taskforces and projects related to research (projects involving external partners of IMT, academic worlds or companies, particularly in the context of IMT structuring projects, national or European projects)

– Participate in forums

– Reviewing conference papers and journal articles

– Communicate in symposia, conferences, workshops, doctoral workshops …

– Participate in the organization of scientific events

– Write articles in popular research blogs and in the specialized press (HBR, The conversation…)

– Conduct research activities within the laboratory, jointly with the Evry Val-d’Essonne University – UEVE, LITEM (EA 7363) (axis 1: “Digital, praxis and responsibility” within the IS Transformation team (aka Smart BIS) )

  1. Service

– Participate in  different committees (chairing internship committee, admission jury) and review  internship reports

– Participate in own department meetings and major events in the life of the school (start of the school year, Faculty day, graduation ceremony, lecture halls…)

– Contribute to internal taskforces and projects related to the deployment of the school strategy

– Participate in relationships with school stakeholders: companies, alumni, local communities, IMT and its schools, Evry site partners

– Contribute to the deployment of the international strategy, especially during abroad own trips

– Participate in school promotion actions (promotion forums, Open door day…)

Level of training and / or experience required:

– Doctorate/PhD in Management Science, MIS, BA or other (defended less than five years ago) consistent with the missions of the school

– Experience in teaching and research in an academic or industrial laboratory

– Significant and recent publications in ranked journals in Management Science at the national level (lists of HCERES, CNRS and FNEGE) and international (list of ABS – Chartered Association of Business Schools) of which at least 2 in peer-reviewed journals over the last 3 years


Required skills, knowledge and experience:

– Teaching experience in higher education

– Fluency in written and spoken English, Writing articles and teaching in English

– Expertise in  the areas of digital transformation: data management and artificial intelligence

– Good integration into the research community in France and abroad

– Knowledge of scientific issues and laboratories of the discipline at the national and international levels

– Taking into account the issues of sustainable development, CSR and ethics in teaching and research activities
