Sarah Cherruault (Institut Mines-Télécom Business School, class of 2012) is rewarded for her startup Auticiel, which creates digital applications to help the autistic. Just graduated from Institut Mines-Télécom Business School, she won the Global Student Business Concept Challenge at the University of Virginia Tech (USA) against 13 other teams from around the world. She received a prize check of USD 25,000.
Auticiel creates digital applications to support social, educational and professional integration of the autistic.
In 2011, Sarah Cherruault, then a student at Institut Mines-Télécom Business School, presented the project of Auticiel during the Challenge Projets d’Entreprendre®, a contest of entrepreneurship organized by the School for its students. She won first place, which allowed her to get financial aid and host the startup in the School’s incubator on campus. Then, she asked François Dupayrat, a young EFREI engineer, to develop the technical part of Auticiel. End of 2012, Sarah graduated from Institut Mines-Télécom Business School.
In August 2013, Sarah and Francois won the Global Student Business Concept Challenge at the University of Virginia Tech (USA), against 13 teams from Australia, Chile, Egypt, China, Italy, etc. Auticiel, which is still in the School’s incubator on campus, is currently completing the development of its first two applications for the market.
