THE Impact rankings: 1st Business School in France and 4th french institution!

Once again this year, Times Higher Education (THE) recognizes Institut Mines-Télécom Business School’s (IMT Business School) decisive contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. This ranking assesses schools and universities on a national and global scale that contribute to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

National and global recognition for training tomorrow’s managers

The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings is the global ranking that assesses schools and universities committed to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations (UN). The performance tables are based on calibrated indicators, providing a comprehensive and balanced comparison between the institutions evaluated. They are structured around four main areas: research, stewardship, outreach and teaching.

Institut Mines-Télécom Business School is ranked 1st Business School in France and 4th in France*, on rank 201-300, out of 1,591 institutions evaluated, with a score of 80.2 out of 100. The school ranks as follows:

68th out of 878 institutions assessed on MDG 1 “No poverty” (1st institution in France on this MDG)

20th out of 1,304 institutions assessed on MDG 4 “Quality education” (1st institution in France on this MDG)

67th out of 1,081 institutions assessed on MDG 5 “Gender equality” (1st institution in France on this MDG)

Top 200 out of 960 institutions assessed on MDG 8 “Decent work and economic growth“.

84th out of 901 institutions assessed on MDG 10 “Reducing inequalities“.

Top 300 out of 910 institutions assessed on SDG 16 “Peace, justice and effective institutions“.

Top 200 out of 1,625 institutions assessed on ODD 17 “Partnerships for the Goals“.

An SD&RS mission at the heart of educational programs at all levels

Implementing the SD&RS policy is one of the 7 objectives of Institut Mines-Télécom Business School’s strategic plan. In line with its ambition to train responsible managers, IMT Business School offers a teaching program based on sustainable development and social responsibility in all its programs, from Bachelor’s to doctoral level, via responsible research. Institut Mines-Télécom Business School implements best practices on a daily basis, not only on campus, but also with its peers and partners.
