From 28 through 30 April, stakeholders in the Evry entrepreneurial ecosystem will be meeting for 54 hours. This regional meeting is a unique initiative in support of startups.
All stakeholders in Evry will come together for the very first time to join the IMT Starter, main organizer of the event in partnership with Silicon Prairie, for a weekend dedicated to the discovery and meetings with (future) founders of startups in Evry.
« It’s important to step out of the beaten path to help the entrepreneurs and businesses of tomorrow to develop”, declares Sébastien CAUWET, director of the incubator of Institut Mines-Télécom Business School, Télécom SudParis and ENSIIE “It is logical to approach this on the regional level; it is important that this approach coincide with others predominant in the creation of new businesses. This weekend sends a strong signal to stakeholders working to develop business in Evry. »
The « Startup Week-End d’Evry » echoes the Challenge Projets d’Entreprendre®, also organized by the IMT Starter, which has been bringing together 500 students from the 3 schools for one week over the past 18 years (from 24 to 31 March 2017).
Throughout the weekend, 20 coaches will be on hand to lead thematic workshops and advise the teams on issues concerning business models, market analysis, technical and financial issues and communication.
Participants will be divided into teams, focused on developing the best project based on the theme 2017 GreenTech and e-health.
The startup weekend will wind up on Sunday, 30 March with a presentation of the various projects before a jury, open to the general public. Various prizes will be awarded the 3 winning teams. At the end of the day, participants will be invited to a networking cocktail sponsored by Evry entrepreneurs.
Registration is open to students of the three IMT Starter schools as well as the general public (up to a maximum of 60 participants).
