Christine Balagué is a member of a number of national bodies, including the CSA's committee of experts on online disinformation, the Defence ethics committee and the commission on the impact of the recommendations of the Haute Autorité de Santé. As Vice-Chair of the Conseil National du Numérique from 2013 to 2016, she took part in a number of projects submitted to the French government on major digital issues (Net Neutrality, Platform Neutrality, E-inclusion, E-education, E-health, Ambition Numérique). She has spoken at numerous conferences, including (most recently) the United Nations Global Compact, the International Sociological Association World Congress of Sociology, the ISMS Marketing Science Conference and the European Marketing Academy Annual Conference. She has also published a number of books, co-written in particular with David Fayon.

- Founder and leader of the Good in Tech research network, a partnership between ITM and Sciences Po. This network has 2 multidisciplinary research areas: Data, algorithms and society / Corporate Digital Responsibility (20 researchers involved, more than 20 articles produced, more than 20 webinars organised, an international conference on DSA with more than 200 participants).
