The Aeromat Innovation Master of Science perfectly illustrates the dual culture here at Institut Mines-Télécom Business School, both generally and in the fundamental DNA of Institut Mines‑Télécom Business School itself. Designed in partnership with IMT Albi-Carnaux, this degree is particularly aimed at bachelor of science graduates in aerospace engineering who want to further their knowledge in the field of space innovation, as well as engineers and managers.
This training program will initially take place at IMT Albi-Carnaux and is designed for students primarily with engineering backgrounds. In the first and third semesters, teaching will take place at IMT Albi-Carnaux, with semester two taking place within Institut Mines‑Télécom Business School. For students, this second semester will be an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of management, both by exploring the traditional domains of all businesses (finance, marketing, strategy, human resources, etc.), but also by looking at brand‑new organizational methods and the new jobs created by our collective digital transformation. As such, beyond the technical aspects of the digital transformation, our ‘engineer-manager’ students will learn and put into practice all the organizational and transferable skills necessary to be part of this global transformation as a team. Through deliberately innovative and fast-paced teaching, our ‘engineer-manager’ students will acquire all the foundations of working in project mode, from learning to work with change to carrying out iterative experiments.
At the end of the program’s three semesters, students will write their master thesis, supervised by IMT Albi-Carnaux and Institut Mines-Télécom Business School staff. Within Institut Mines-Télécom Business School. this program has been led for the past two years by Dr Olivier Epinette (https://www.linkedin.com/in/olivier-epinette) alongside Dr Philippe Lours at Albi.
