Pick between a work placement, international internship or a sandwich placement.  The choice is yours on the Grande Ecole Programme, giving students the opportunity to gain up to 21 months of invaluable professional experience during their studies:

  • Work placement: 3 months minimum at the end of Year 1, giving you a first taste of what it is like to work in the field of management,
  • Gap year (optional),
  • Professional placement: 6 months minimum in Year 3.

Gap year

The optional gap year involves you taking a temporary break from your studies to enhance your future employment prospects.  It is a fantastic opportunity to gain a significant personal experience either on your own, or within a host organisation in France or abroad

Degree Apprenticeship scheme

On the Grande Ecole Programme at Institut Mines-Telecom Business School, you can do all or part of your postgraduate studies on an apprenticeship scheme.  Upon graduation, as a result you’ll be able to offer employers between 12 and 36 months of practical business experience.

Career planning

The Career Centre at Institut Mines-Telecom Business School provides students with a range of one-to-one career planning services covering 3 main areas:

  • Communication: one-to-one interviews (assessments, career planning advice, coaching …), with HR or personal development specialists,
  • Understanding the job market: professional communication tools and techniques (CV, covering letter, interviewing), job sector profiles and recruitment sessions,
  • Personal development: understanding your character traits and strengths, assessing your potential and identifying areas of improvement to inform your career choices.

Careers fairs and employer events

Each year, IM-T BS organises numerous employer and recruitment events on its campus, including the Telecoms Careers Fair.
