With a view to encouraging social diversity, Institut Mines-Télécom Business School offers various options. 

PASSEPORT AVENIR

Created in 2005, the Passeport Avenir association brings together 27 businesses keen to help young people from modest backgrounds in building their professional projects. Passeport Avenir is one of the programs aimed at training a new kind of leader, with the help of business executives volunteering to act as mentors to these young people. In 2015/2016, some thirty students were selected for personalized tutoring.

LES CORDÉES DE LA RÉUSSITE

Cordées de la Réussite and the SPRINT (our Junior Entreprise) join hands to help young people from the Quartiers de la Politique de la Ville, to develop and achieve their educational goals.

This program seeks to promote equal opportunity for all and today comprises more than 375 « Cordées » throughout all of France. Under the aegis of universities and partnering grandes écoles like Institut Mines-Télécom Business School, Cordées de la Réussite aims to facilitate access to higher learning institutions for all young people, regardless of their socio-cultural background, by providing them with the keys to succeed in sectors of excellence. 

Students from Institut Mines-Télécom Business School visit middle schools and high schools in Evry to raise awareness of admission to the grandes écoles, to offer tutoring and propose cultural outings. 

THE SERVICE CIVIQUE AND THE INSTITUT DE L’ENGAGEMENT

Institut Mines-Télécom Business School is a partner of the Institut de l’Engagement:

1. It participates on Institut de l’Engagement juries

2. It selectively accepts graduates of the Institut de l’Engagement

3. It offers a gap year with the service civique

 

2015/2016

EVENTS

 

  • Participation in the selection of 2016 graduates from the Institut de l’engagement and acceptance of 4 graduates in the Bachelor and Grande École programs.
  • 7th edition of the Journée Nationale des Cordées [National Cordées Day]
  • Passeport Avenir celebrates its 10th anniversary
  • Number of social grants awarded by TEM: 124 students in 1st year, 140 students in 2nd year, 61 students in 3rd year for a total of 325 grant recipients
